A long time ago, there was a man seeking God. He came to a Holy Man one day and asked him, "Holy Man, let me realize God!" The Holy Man ignored him day after day, telling him nothing. Many days and months passed away in this manner. One day, as usual, the Holy Man went to the river to take a spiritual bath. The man, still following the Holy Man, took a bath in the river too. All of a sudden, the Holy Man plunged the head of the man into the river and held it. The man struggled and felt he was going to die! When he reached the limit of his suffering, the Holy Man released his head and asked him, "What did you want?" The man answered, "I wanted to breathe!" The Holy Man said, "If you seek God with your heart as much as you wanted to breathe, you will Realize God."
