LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF

To serve others is the ultimate teaching, not only in yoga, but in all world religions. Christ said, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." Even one smile, or one kindly word may do. Serve to make the sufferer and the mourner happy.

There are countless sufferers in the world. In the beginning, serve others from the position of what you can do. In order to do this, sweep away your ego and ignorance and sacrifice yourself for others. To sweep away your ego and ignorance, listen to the words of the Enlightened Ones, think, and then meditate on their Truth.
